The DriverGenius does not have a microSD slot. Work with Patriot EP Series V30 A1 microSDXC 128GB and Toshiba FlashAir W-04 64GB cards. These include PNY Elite microSDXC, the Lexar Professional 633x microSDXC 64GB and Samsung EVO Select microSDXC 128GB.
Some microSD cards did not perform up to expected read speed. UHS-I card speeds peaked at 97.4 MB/s sequential read and 91.3 MB/s sequential write. In benchmark tests the DriverGenius card reader performed up to 256.3 MB/s sequential read speed and 229.0 Sequential write speed. The DriverGenius card reader is compatible with Windows 10/8/7/Vista/XP and MacOS 10.6-10.14. Is on steady when a card is present and blinks when the card is accessed. The reader has a blue LED indicator light that SD cards insert deep into the reader and in a somewhat counterintuitive fashion, the contacts of the SD card must face up, rather than label side up. The Type-A male USB connector is sits close to the body of the reader and may block adjacent USB ports.
The DriverGenius reader has a plastic body and includes a cover for the USB connector.
